Snagged and Elizabeth

Do you ever just reach a point in reading where you want to continue but you know you may not. Not b/c the book isn't good its just you've been reading the same one for so long now your not sure you want to finish. Even though the book is good and you really, really want to know what happens?

Well that's where The Lady Elizabeth and I are at right now. Just when I think it is almost over I realize I have 200 more pages *drops head* Never fear I will finish this book if it kills me.

Now on to some lighter news I did manage to finish one book. you can see my review at http://readingromancebooks.com/2009/01/snagged-by-jet-mykles/ Until next time tootles!

Yep, happens to me all the time, especially during busy times when I'm easily distracted and don't have much time to read.

If I work on the same book for more than five days, I'm almost guaranteed to drop it without finishing it. On day four I start getting a little bored, but day five seems to be my breaking point. What sucks is when it happens with really good books that deserve more attention than I'm willing to give them. In those cases, I usually hang on to the book and try to read a chapter here and there at bedtime or on car trips. At the very least, I skim the last two chapters so I still feel like I've given the book a chance.

Glad to know it happens to others GOOD LORD that book took forever. I think a lot of it was my disappointment that it wasn't written like the first. At least its done.
