Now I have to say although I have read only one on the list I haven't bought any new books (yay me) so I haven't broken the contract however, I am going to get more books for Christmas. So here's my new revised "contract" I will not buy any new books next year until I read: the books listed above and 10 more from my TBR pile which I will list after Christmas when I get the new books. So I have to read 61 books before I can buy any new ones.

So you are more than welcome to join in the new revised "contract" and pledge with me to not buy any new books in 2009 until you have read X amount of books.

Good to hear from you. Nothing bad about reading. With work and the holidays it's hard to keep up. Glad you're well.

That's awesome! (That you didn't buy any books) Me, I've fallen by the wayside. But I'm not buying as much ever since I got my ebook reader. :P

I'd join you but I already have a list of books I MUST have that don't come out until next year. *sigh* And I have no will power when it comes to books.
